Seattle University's Kinsey Gallery presents its 2015 summer alumni show Relaxed featuring works by Colleen RJC Bratton. Bratton works with repurposed fabric to transform stark architecture into tender objects. Inspired by countless hours within the Frye Art Museum as a security guard and gallery guide, Bratton's soft structures highlight the idea that prolonged exposure creates sentimental attachments.
Bratton graduated from Seattle University with a degree in Visual Arts and Philosophy. She currently lives and works in Seattle, Washington.
Join us for an Artist Reception Thursday, August 13th from 6-8pm.
The Kinsey Gallery is located at the intersection of 12th Ave & Marion St.
The gallery is open to the public Monday thru Friday 8:30am - 4:30pm (excluding University-observed holidays). Admission is always free.
